Behind the Upgrade: How We Improved Staking & Investment, Wallet Access, and the Definder User Flow

We’ve spent the past few months focused on improving the experience across the Definder platform — both under the hood and on the surface.

Some of these updates were highly requested. Others were long overdue. And a few came out of necessity, as we started preparing the platform for bigger things ahead (like cross-chain support and real-world licensing).

If you’ve used Definder before, you’ll notice the difference. If you’re new here, you’ll have a much smoother start than early adopters did. Here’s what’s already live and how it changes the experience moving forward.

Simpler Access: Google and Twitter Login Now Available

For many users, the hardest part of trying a new platform isn’t the functionality — it’s the friction at the start.

We’ve added Google and Twitter login to eliminate that barrier. Now, if you just want to look around, explore, or come back after a long break, there’s no need to dig out a wallet or create another password.

This also improves onboarding during marketing campaigns or demos. Users can get in quickly, with no extra setup — and of course, wallet connection is still available when you’re ready to stake or transact.

In addition, we’ve made security improvements on the account level, including stronger password requirements and backend-level enhancements that better protect user data during login and registration.

Full Wallet Support on Desktop and Mobile

This one’s big. For a long time, staking worked best on desktop. Mobile was… functional, but inconsistent — and Trust Wallet users in particular felt that pain.

We’ve learned from the staking downtime, reviewed the entire flow, and double-checked the system to ensure this kind of disruption won’t happen again.

Now, staking is:

  • Fully stable on all major desktop wallets
  • Working smoothly on mobile with MetaMask and Trust Wallet
  • Ready to support WalletConnect expansion, which means compatibility with 400+ wallets is right around the corner

It’s not just about checking boxes. This changes how and when people use the platform. You can now:

  • Stake from your phone while on the go
  • Access your positions on both mobile and desktop without sync issues
  • Know that your actions (and balances) will be reflected properly, everywhere

We’ve also improved the mobile Web3 integration layer, creating a more direct and reliable experience. Whether you’re staking, voting, or investing — mobile users now land directly into the Web3-ready flow with fewer steps and no confusion.

Smarter UX with Real-Time Feedback

One of the most frustrating things in any Web3 platform is clicking a button and not knowing what just happened — or why nothing happened.

We’ve made major improvements to how Definder communicates with users during key actions. You’ll now see:

  • More intuitive UI transitions
  • Clearer confirmations and messages when you stake, claim, or vote
  • Helpful explanations at each step so you’re not left guessing

These changes are especially important as we expand beyond the crypto-native audience. Definder now feels more like a product you can trust and understand — whether you’re familiar with DAOs or not.

Tech That Scales — Major Structural Upgrades

Many of the improvements we’ve made aren’t visible at first glance, but they’re foundational to how the platform performs and evolves.

We’ve upgraded our entire frontend framework — from Vue.js v13 to v19 — which significantly improves stability, performance, and future compatibility. Alongside that, we rebuilt the entire WalletConnect integration layer for cleaner, faster, and more secure wallet communication.

There’s also a critical improvement in how wallet sessions behave:

You can now invest from one wallet (e.g. MetaMask) and stake from another (e.g. Trust Wallet or WalletConnect), and the session will still display your assets consistently in a single interface. This means a user can interact with the platform using multiple wallets — and still see their full portfolio without disconnects or visibility issues.

We’ve also implemented backend-level optimizations — including improved performance tracking via updated analytics tools — to help us monitor load times, usability, and overall platform responsiveness more effectively.

We’ve also made targeted updates to the marketplace page — improving both layout and responsiveness — along with ongoing backend improvements tied to platform readability, responsiveness, and optimization for Web3 interaction.

So What Does This All Mean for You?

Whether you’re a long-time supporter or exploring Definder for the first time:

  • Logging in and getting started is faster and easier
  • You can stake and invest using the wallet and device that works best for you
  • Your session stays connected across actions and wallets
  • The platform feels more predictable, responsive, and intuitive

These improvements also open the door for what’s coming next — from cross-chain investment options to compliance infrastructure and new real-world projects on-chain.

We’re still building. But today’s experience already feels like a big step forward.

Thanks for being with us.
