Smartlands announces first steps into the Asia-Pacific region after signing an MOU with InvestaX
Smartlands and InvestaX today announced the signing of an MOU to drive the adoption of digital securities and build an ecosystem for digital exchanges that allows for interoperability amongst such exchanges to cross-list tokenized digital security offerings. InvestaX is an asset tokenization platform focused on real assets and other alternative asset classes with established links to local venture capital, private equity and real estate principles in the Asia-Pacific region. Like Smartlands, InvestaX has also recorded some notable firsts, not least among which was, the launch of Digital Spac and the very recently concluded MAS proof of concept project for tokenization of Singapore Variable Capital Company (Project e-VCC).
Initially, we plan to establish a structure under which listings on one platform are automatically made available on the other platform giving both sides an expanded investor base for each platform’s new listing and wider market understanding for our own tokens.
