Smartlands CEO Arnoldas Nauseda Completes Oxford Saïd Business School Fintech Programme
It never hurts to learn a thing or two, especially at Oxford Saïd Business School. Governed by that principle, Smartlands Platform CEO, Arnoldas Nauseda, has taken two weeks out of his hectic schedule to complete a digital program for executives and entrepreneurs called “Oxford Fintech Programme.”
The program was developed by Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, in collaboration with a leading online education provider GetSmarter in recognition of both the threats facing traditional banking careers and the myriad of opportunities emerging in the fintech space. Naturally, Arnoldas couldn’t pass on this opportunity to get even smarter and enrolled.
We should note that Arnoldas Nauseda is no spring chicken and has years of corporate and entrepreneurial experience in the banking and fintech industry. Before joining Smartlands, he spent four years as a full–time entrepreneur, developing businesses in the fields of technology, fintech, and robotics. He holds BS in economics from Concordia University Wisconsin, recently graduated with an international executive MBA from Baltic Management Institute (part of HEC, Paris), and took Innovation and Entrepreneurship studies at Aalto University Business School, Finland.
But Oxford is Oxford, and its brand new Fintech Programme is designed with a unique approach to drafting, strategizing and developing disruptive financial innovations using the appropriate tools and techniques, hypothesizing about the effect new regulations will have on future commerce products, and a lot more.
In just two weeks Arnoldas has reached new levels of in-depth understanding of the future of money, markets, and transactions, as well as the mental tools and frameworks required to predict and leverage future trends in fintech. With the amount of newfound fintech knowledge and skills, as well as access to a global network of likeminded fintech Intra- and entrepreneurs, it’s safe to say that Smartlands CEO Arnoldas Nauseda will have plenty to share at the upcoming fintech events, in which Smartlands plans to participate. Namely, the Security Token Offering on Stellar Blockchain meetup in Vilnius, Lithuania, on October 3 and at the Blockchain Solutions World in Barcelona on October 15-16. We’ll see you there!
